The simple tomato has gained a stellar reputation due to the discovery of a carotenoid called lycopene, a health promoting phytochemical. In the body, lycopene acts like a powerful antioxidant, helping to scavenge and neutralize harmful free radicals which can accelerate aging and cause disease. Lycopene also assists in the repair of damaged body cells as well as helping to inhibit DNA oxidation, which left unchecked can lead to forms of cancer. Another research group at Ben Gurion University in Israel reported that lycopene inhibited cancer cell growth of both breast and lung tissue. One large research study in Wisconsin found lycopene to be the key antioxidant that guards against age-related macular degeneration. A research team from the University of Toronto in Canada reported that lycopene inhibited the oxidation of LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol, the so-called "bad cholesterol". Using lycopene to lower LDL cholesterol could mean decreased risk of heart disease for many people.

Mix 1 tbsp. of Quantum Tomato Concentrate with 1 cup of cold water. Add 1 tbsp. Quantum Nutritional Flakes, ½ tsp. Quantum EFA Oil Blend and Premier Pink Salt to taste.

One Minute Power Food Tomato Soup:
Mix 1 tbsp. of Quantum Tomato Concentrate with 1 cup of hot water. Add 1 Premier Pink Salt, Quantum Nutritional Flakes, Quantum EFA Oil Blend to taste.

One Minute Power Food Tomato Sauce/Salad Dressing:
Mix 1 tbsp. of Quantum Tomato Concentrate with 2 tbsp. Premier Olive Oil and ¼ cup water. Add seasoning to taste.
