What is Rawfood?
By Roland Oehme
Raw food is the main component of the healthiest diet. Raw food is also called living food since the food is still alive. That means that the food has not been heated above 115 degrees F. When we talk about the healthiest diet we also mean vegan foods since consuming animal foods is the major reason for most of humankind’s diseases today. Vegan, raw foods consist of raw, uncooked fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Filtered, spring, or distilled water is essential to a healthy diet as well. To be the healthiest diet, raw foods must be the freshest, most nutritious available, as well as organic, raw (not heated above 115 deg. F), unprocessed, and wildgrown when available.
These are the foods that are the healthiest for humans. If you consume primarily or exclusively raw foods, you are taking a major step in allowing you to live the happiest, healthiest, longest lived life possible.
To find out more about raw, living foods, and the healthiest diet, please visit GHL’s store where we sell some of the healthiest foods on the planet. Also, on GHL’s website, look under “Green Info”, then click on “Green Links” to look at other websites that offer great raw food information.
